Job description

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Kforce has a client that is seeking a Junior IT Project Manager in Boca Raton, FL to support and lead enterprise-level technology initiatives through the full project lifecycle.
Summary:
This role will partner closely with technical teams and business stakeholders to gather requirements, manage project scope, track timelines, and ensure successful delivery of key projects. The ideal candidate is highly organized, analytical, and capable of managing multiple priorities while maintaining strong communication with stakeholders across the organization.
Responsibilities:
* Support the planning and execution of enterprise-level IT projects through all project phases, from initiation through closeout
* Coordinate with technical and business teams to gather requirements and define project objectives
* Manage project scope, priorities, timelines, risks, and testing activities
* Communicate project status, updates, risks, and changes to key stakeholders
* Facilitate meetings with leadership, end users, vendors, and technical teams
* Develop and maintain project documentation, including project plans, schedules, budgets, WBS, and RACI matrices
* Ensure project deliverables and stakeholder expectations remain aligned
* Assist with the development and standardization of project management processes, templates, and best practices
* Support cross-functional collaboration on complex, mission-critical initiatives
* Work independently while managing multiple projects and priorities
REQUIREMENTS:
* Bachelor's degree
* 1-3 years of Project Management experience
* Experience supporting or managing IT projects
* Experience managing projects through the full project lifecycle (Initiation through Closing)
* Experience gathering business and technical requirements
* Experience working on cross-functional projects
* Familiarity with project management documentation, including schedules, budgets, WBS, and RACI charts
* Strong written and verbal communication skills
* Strong organizational and analytical skills
* Ability to manage scope, timelines, priorities, and stakeholder expectations
Preferred Qualifications:
* Experience working in Agile environments and utilizing Agile methodologies
* Experience supporting large organizations or complex enterprise environments
* Experience creating or improving project management templates and standards
* Experience coordinating with vendors and technical teams
* Project management certifications or formal PM training are a plus
The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.
We offer comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, HSA, FSA, 401(k), and life, disability & ADD insurance to eligible employees. Salaried personnel receive paid time off. Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
