Job description

Job Title: Inventory Associate B Shift M-F 3pm-1:30am Location: Orlando, FL Type: Contract / On-Site Compensation: $28 per hour

Responsibilities • Support continuous improvement initiatives by evaluating, monitoring, and escalating roadblocks that could cause downstream defects. • Assist in root cause analysis and problem-solving efforts related to inventory and fulfillment processes. • Properly operate heavy equipment including PIT equipment, forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, electronic pallet jacks, and other material handling machinery, following safety and maintenance procedures. • Receive shipments, unload deliveries, and inspect packages for quality and compliance with SOPs. • Conduct quality control checks on incoming parts and materials, ensuring adherence to standards. • Document receipts and work orders accurately using inventory management tools, ensuring proper data entry and record-keeping. • Manage packaging tasks, selecting appropriate materials and properly wrapping or storing parts throughout the workflow. • Sort, stage, and move packages or crates, ensuring secure handling to prevent loss. • Label and mark parts with identifiers as outlined in SOPs for tracking and analysis. • Assign storage locations and perform audits to ensure proper storage and inventory accuracy.

Requirements • Experience in fulfillment operations, including inventory counting, receiving, packing, and shipping (include years and companies if available). • Ability to operate heavy equipment such as forklifts, reach-trucks, turret-trucks, and electronic pallet jacks, with understanding of safety and maintenance practices. • Willingness to drive a forklift with training. • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to support root cause analysis. • Proficiency in data entry and navigating inventory management systems. • Excellent attention to detail for inspecting shipments, labeling, and quality control. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on safety and accuracy.
