Position Overview

Fieldstrom Staffing is actively building an advanced talent pipeline of experienced Administrative Assistants for upcoming municipal, county, and state-level agency contracts throughout the greater Indianapolis area. Candidates entering this pipeline will be pre-vetted against standard clerical, office machine operation, and technical classification benchmarks, ensuring immediate eligibility for rapid deployment when government requisitions go live.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive clerical and administrative support to agency managers, departmental staff, or program directors.

  • Manage high-volume data entry, records processing, document imaging, and digital archiving with a high degree of accuracy.

  • Answer, screen, and route inbound phone calls, managing digital correspondence and calendar scheduling without operational friction.

  • Prepare, edit, and format official agency reports, memos, spreadsheets, and public-facing correspondence.

  • Maintain organized physical and digital filing systems in strict compliance with public record maintenance protocols.

  • Assist the public, agency clients, or vendors by providing straightforward, professional information and resolving routine inquiries.



RequirementsQualifications & Requirements
  • Experience: Minimum of 1–2 years of experience in an administrative support, clerical, data entry, or office management role (public sector or state agency experience is highly preferred).

  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in standard office productivity software, database management, and digital CRM/HCM tracking tools.
