Role Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to lead our independent business development efforts in the United States. In this role, you will be tasked with identifying and securing new business opportunities, cultivating strong client relationships, and representing our client at key industry events. You will play a crucial role in driving our continued growth by leveraging your expertise in outreach, client education, and relationship-building.

  • Travel: Local client meetings, events and conferences
  • Compensation: Base salary + uncapped monthly commissions (OTE $100k - $120k+ 1st year)

Our client is expanding and needs a driven Business Development Manager to lead national business development efforts., selling to companies with hiring needs for various levels of accounting.


What You’ll Be Doing

·       Identify new business opportunities via research, various outreach methods, meetings, and networking and industry events.

·       Build and nurture long-term relationships in a consultative B2B sales environment.

·       Represent the company at industry events, conferences and trade shows.

·       Lead and Deliver structured sales presentations and negotiate contracts.

·       Track and manage a full sales pipeline using CRM tools to consistently hit KPI’s and targets.

·       Stay current on Accounting industry trends, market conditions, and competitors.


What We’re Looking For

Required

  • Minimum 2-4 Years of B2B sales experience
  • Proven ability to close deals and manage client relationships.
  • Strong communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Self-motivated and comfortable working independently.
  • Bachelor’s degree (preferably in Accounting or Finance)

Preferred

  • Experience working within an accounting firm or outsourcing company
  • Established network within the accounting or business services industry

 


Compensation & Benefits

  • Base Salary - $65k+ commensurate with experience
  • On-Target Earning (1st year): $90,000 - $110,000+
  • Commissions: Monthly, Uncapped
