What You Will Do in This Role?
As a Technical Services Manager, you will provide overall strategic direction, leadership, and management for biomedical and field service technicians within your assigned region.
  • Lead and manage day-to-day operations of a technical services team supporting customers across a multi-state territory
  • Provide strategic direction to achieve individual, team, and organizational performance goals
  • Act as primary customer contact to maintain strong relationships, resolve critical issues, and ensure high service quality
  • Partner with Divisional Directors, Account Executives, Operations Managers, and service teams to drive revenue growth, cost containment, and service expansion
  • Manage customer equipment records, service schedules, and contract data within company systems
  • Oversee preventive maintenance, repairs, parts inventory, and equipment lifecycle management
  • Ensure compliance with equipment recalls, upgrades, regulatory requirements, and documentation standards
  • Monitor service expenses, inventory, technician productivity, and fleet compliance
  • Manage internal requisitions, purchase orders, and parts/supply inventory
  • Maintain accurate documentation for billing and regulatory compliance
  • Support district operations and step in for Operations leadership as needed
  • Recruit, train, coach, and develop technical staff, including ongoing performance feedback and career development
  • Foster a culture of accountability, teamwork, continuous improvement, and safety
  • Manage and maintain operational budgets and financial performance expectations
  • Proactively identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives
  • Perform additional duties as assigned
