REYNOLDS AMERICAN has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Manager Validation Compliance in Winston-Salem, NC.
Your key responsibilities will include:
  • Maintain and execute validation strategy, framework, processes and process governance for FDA and other regulatory compliance initiatives across RAI operating companies.
  • Lead and manage key validation initiatives resulting from new or modified regulations, guidance, corporate assumptions and strategies, including escalation as appropriate.
  • Oversee employee and service providers involved in the execution of validation processes, change control, and related deliverables, ensuring compliance with governing procedures, appropriate staffing, workload distribution and timely issue escalation.
  • Assess, implement and leverage approved AI technologies to enhance validation efficiency, support decision-making, and drive continuous improvement while ensuring accountability for the review and appropriate use of AI-generated outputs.
  • Develop and deliver presentations, communications, training material, and metrics to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
  • Provide leadership and participation in internal and external audits, and cross-functional collaboration for existing, planned, and pending activities.
  • Assume responsibility for contract management, financial forecasting, budgeting, and invoicing.
  • Lead, manage, and develop direct reports via goal setting, coaching, performance evaluation, succession and development planning.
  • Serve as a Validation Project SME and back-up to the Validation Process SME, presenting validation frameworks, processes, and project deliverables during regulatory inspections

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years relevant experience or associate's degree with 6+ years relevant experience. Relevant experience could include validation, quality assurance, information technology, finance, engineering, manufacturing, laboratory or related roles.
  • Experience with scripted testing, qualification, verification and/or validation; experience managing validation activities is preferred.
  • Demonstrated technical leadership skills. Experience managing direct reports is preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively utilize AI-enabled tools, adhering to established governance requirements.
  • Results-oriented with the ability to prioritize and multi-task to meet validation timing and methodology requirements, projects and adapt to rapidly changing priorities.
  • Acute attention to detail, strong adherence to process and protocol and competency for intense technical reading.
  • Strong interpersonal, collaboration and communication skills with ability to interact and collaborate with all levels at RAI Operating Companies.
  • Demonstrated project management skills ability to streamline processes.
  • Works proficiently in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint.
  • Ability to work independently, make decisions and drive execution with a sense of urgency.
