Faculty & Staff Physician Positions – Neuroradiology

University of Miami / UHealth / Miller School of Medicine / Overnight Shift

The Division of Neuroradiology at the University of Miami Health System and Leonard M. Miller School of Medicine is seeking fellowship-trained radiologists for full-time, part-time faculty, overnight and staff physicians (Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor) on the clinical educator track positions.

The University offers a highly competitive salary relative to academia for this shift position, which is enhanced by an attractive benefits package.

Overnight position option

The position involves coverage from 4pm-12pm Mon-Fri and 1-10 pm on Sat/Sun on a 1 week on/2 week off schedule. This includes a combination of remote and on-site coverage.

Responsibilities of the candidate include providing interpretations of plain film, CT and MR studies.

The Division of Neuroradiology plays a central role in training radiology residents and medical students and offers a one-year ACGME-accredited fellowship with six fellows annually. Primary Responsibilities
  • Deliver high-quality neuroradiology services, including advanced brain, head & neck, and spine imaging across CT, MRI, and other modalities
  • Educate and mentor medical students, residents, and fellows
  • Participate in research and contribute to scholarly activities
  • Engage in departmental quality assurance, call coverage, and administrative functions
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize clinical pathways and outcomes
  • Serve on departmental and institutional committees aligned with UHealth’s mission

Qualifications
  • MD or DO, with completion of a Diagnostic Radiology Residency
  • Fellowship training in Neuroradiology
  • Board-certified or board-eligible by the American Board of Radiology (ABR); must have passed the ABR Core Exam
  • Eligible for an unrestricted Florida medical license
  • CAQ-eligible (or CAQ-certified) in Neuroradiology
  • Academic experience preferred; recent fellowship graduates are encouraged to apply
