Basic Purpose
Provides settlement, analysis, negotiation, and administration of material contracts, service contracts, and master agreements.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
  • Provides settlement, analysis, negotiation, and administration of material contracts, service contracts, and master agreements
  • Manages and resolves complex contract compliance issues including tracking performance.
  • Maintains contract files and documentation, including confidential information used for regulatory hearings and litigation.
  • Performs the accounting settlement function of material and service related agreement invoices.
  • Performs complex analysis on contract related issues.
  • Supports pre-bid and pre-construction activities.
  • Facilitates the negotiation of contract amendments.
  • Supports the negotiation of master service agreements.
  • Continually evaluates current business processes and seeks to improve internal operations wherever possible.
  • Leads continuous process improvement initiatives.
  • Responds to data requests submitted by internal and external customers.
  • Ensures approvals and appropriate documentation are received and maintained as needed.
  • Ensures all compliance aspects of position are known and followed; understands and complies with all policies, codes and regulations applicable to position and company.
  • Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications
Essential Education, Skills, and Environment
Education and Work Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited school plus 6 of more years of related experience.
Candidates that do not possess a bachelor's degree must have 10 years of related work experience.
Specialized Knowledge and Skills
Demonstrated skills and knowledge of energy industry. Demonstrated skills of negotiation, complex issue resolution, and project leadership. Demonstrated analytical, time management, communication, attention to detail, customer service, and organization skills. Able to multi-task and work in both a team-oriented environment and independently.
