Reporting Relationship: This position will report to the CMO of The Tebow Group.

Overview: At the heart of our business is the content that we share with the world. We are looking for a visionary Content Strategy Director to define and evolve our content strategy across our entire content ecosystem: speaking, books, emails, social media, website, and internal communications. This role sits at the center of the Tebow brand, marketing, digital experiences, and is responsible for accelerating business growth through our content. By enhancing our content initiatives, you will help shape how we connect with our audience and reinforce the Tebow’s brand value in the marketplace.

This position is based in Jacksonville, FL and requires frequent travel.

Top Five Responsibilities: 

  1. Understand, develop, and expand the Tebows’ voice and communication style for all channels, internally and externally.

  2. Define, implement, and evolve the content strategy.

  3. Leverage data-driven insights to optimize content performance.

  4. Collaborate effectively across departments (marketing, brand, investments).

  5. Lead, manage, and develop a small team of content professionals.

Key Functions: 

  • Accompany the Tebows to gain deep expertise in their communication style and serve as an extension across ministry work, events, investment meetings, on-set activities, and office operations.

  • Learn the Tebows’ voice and leverage existing and new research to equip the team for effective story telling in impactful environments.

  • Develop a system that consistently delivers meaningful content experiences, drives business growth, and strengthens relationships with our audience—going way beyond exceptional writing.

  • Apply a modern, audience-first approach to content, leveraging data, insights, and emerging technologies such as AI to create timely, relevant, and high-impact content experiences.

  • Prioritize alignment with business objectives, collaborating across departments to maximize the effectiveness of all content initiatives.

  • Strategically steward the content creation efforts of writing and creative teams.

  • Translate complex concepts into accessible, inspiring, and actionable communication.

  • Stay informed on current events, cultural conversations, and theological discussions relevant to our audience.

  • Ensure SEO best practices are applied to long-form content

Requirements: 

  • Proven experience in producing content across various platforms. 

  • Willingness to travel with the team and talent; approximately 100 days on the road in the first year to learn the Tebows’ voice.

  • Ability to constructively challenge and inspire talent to elevate content quality.

  • Fluent in both the language of the boardroom and the language of the pulpit.

  • Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading skills.

  • Creative thinker with the ability to generate fresh ideas.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to track and manage multiple projects.

  • Energetic, adaptable, and eager to tackle new projects and ideas

Qualifications:

  • Ability to constructively challenge and inspire talent, fostering discussions that bring out their best performance and elevate the quality of content.

  • Commitment to being part of a mission-driven organization, with a focus on Christian and ministry content.

  • Experience in copywriting, content production, marketing, or a similar role.
