ERM is seeking an experienced Learning Content Designer (6-month contract), based in Atlanta, GA or Philadelphia to help transform complex knowledge into meaningful, highimpact learning experiences that drive real capability and behavior change. This is a global role, working flexibly across time zones, and suited to a handson learning content specialist who thrives in fastmoving, transformationled environments. As ERM continues to grow and evolve, this role plays a critical part in enabling our people with the skills, tools, and insights they need to succeed.

Preferred location will be Atlanta, GA or Philadelphia, PA. Other locations on the East Coast may be considered.

What You'll Bring:

Required

  • Strong instructional design, learning content writing, and sensemaking skills

  • Demonstrated ability to independently design and write learning content aligned to defined outcomes, skills, and behaviours

  • Experience rapidly distilling complex, technical, or specialist information into usable learning content

  • Effective use of generative AI tools to support firstdraft creation, content variation, scenario generation, summarisation, and iterative development

  • Strong human learning judgement to validate accuracy, relevance, ethical AI use, and learning effectiveness

  • Experience designing learning across multiple formats, including instructorled, selfpaced, digital, blended, and campaignbased learning

  • Ability to create modular, reusable learning content suitable for use in the flow of work

  • Strong stakeholder management skills and confidence partnering with SMEs across regions and services

  • Experience using learning content development tools and designing for LMS/LXP and workplace platforms (e.g., Teams, SharePoint)

  • Awareness of accessibility, inclusion, and learning design standards

  • Strong organisational and time management skills with high attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams)

  • Familiarity with LMS platforms (Cornerstone OnDemand preferred)

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across teams and time zones

  • Comfort working in ambiguous, fastmoving environments

SME Partnership & Learning Consulting

  • Partner with SMEs across services and regions to extract insight efficiently

  • Ask effective questions to surface performance needs

  • Translate SME input into learnercentred content without overreliance on raw source material

  • Build credibility as a learning partner through strong design judgement

Learning Tools, Platforms & Content Craft

  • Build learning assets using appropriate tools and formats based on need, speed, and scale

  • Design content for delivery via LMS/LXP and workplace platforms

  • Apply accessibility, inclusion, and ERM learning design standards consistently

Programme Coordination & Learner Experience

  • Schedule and manage learning logistics, instructor communications, and virtual session setup

  • Maintain training calendars, records, and LMS data accuracy

  • Serve as a primary point of contact for learners, providing guidance and support

  • Monitor attendance, feedback, and engagement metrics to inform improvements

  • Provide live coordination and hosting support during training sessions

Content, Resource & Operational Support

  • Collaborate with Global Learning Program Leads to prepare and distribute learning materials

  • Support evaluation of learning programmes using surveys, feedback, and performance metrics

  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and process documentation

  • Support compliance with GDPR and internal data protection policies

  • Liaise with IT and HRIS teams to maintain integration with Workday and SSO systems
