We are searching for an Associate Shopper Insights Manager to join our team. This position is remote.


Your Role:

As an Associate Shopper Insights Manager, you will provide support to the Category Management and Sales teams by way of providing insights and trends on multiple categories across multiple departments and retailers. This role will provide insight into industry trends and the effects on shopping behaviors across retailers, regions and channels.

  • Establish strong working relationships with internal resources including Sales teams, Shopper Insights and Category Management teams, to better understand shopper trends and behaviors.
  • Provide shopper insights using internal data, external resources and syndicated data in relation to shopper behaviors, category trends, industry and market trends.  
  • Stay abreast of industry trends, economic conditions, customer initiatives, competitive activities, and historical learning in order to identify business influencing trends and implications for our categories. 
  • Meet regularly with Category and Sales team to assist in developing appropriate insights to business issues through the mining of data that will drive increased sales and profits for the retailer’s category and RCP brands.
  • Support Sales and Category Management teams on special category/shopper insights projects.
  • Champion a culture of teamwork and sharing across the broader Shopper Insights and Category Management teams, helping accelerate the development of a high-performance team.

We need you to have:

  • BA/BS degree in Sales, Marketing, Finance or related field.
  • 4+ years of related professional Shopper Insights, Consumer Insights, Category Management/Analytical role in a CPG company or brokerage firm.
  • Proficient in MS Office.
  • Proficient in syndicated data such as Nielsen, Symphony, Circana/IRI.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including presentation skills and the ability to communicate and influence at all levels within the organization.
  • Self-directed with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple accountabilities and multiple internal customers.

Role is eligible for 10% annual incentive provided the business meets financial goals and the individual meets their performance goals, subject to plan administration guidelines.
