Job Description The Globe Marketing Cross Segment Strategy Leads role is instrumental in driving and growing the Globe Brands.
The Cross Segment Strategy Manager is the single point of accountability for the total quality delivery (OTIF - On, time, In-Full) of a Project/ Program for Cross Segments including Regulatory, Design, Deployment and Activation of the full marketing mix via a detailed go-to-market plan.
- Building business partnerships with Brand Teams and Territory Teams as well as different internal teams like EDS, MR, OSM and Finance to deliver the Marketing programs for Globe that drives business objectives.
- Partnering with Marketing Divisions to execute or create winning mixes & communication assets for the different Cross Segment Strategy Programs.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Program Management

  • Act as a support to the Masterbrand & Cross Segments Strategy Head in driving long term strategy and delivering in year 4Q plans for designated brands.

  • Drive competitive growth, through consumer and trend led innovation and activation, but also through all elements of the 5Ps of Marketing in the service of the

  • Customer Segment including fully understanding product frameworks & strategic pricing in collaboration with brands.

  • Help deliver brand and/or program P&L goals in line with driving demand thru marketing programs, help drive business objectives including resource prioritization, lead development of quality input into medium-term business forecasts territory-by-territory and the creation of any necessary contingency plans.

  • Co-Lead development 12Q Business Plans with necessary brand and territory cuts.

  • End to end tracking and optimisation of Programs deployed. OTIF (On-time, In-full) delivery of key programs and projects, including competitive claims via effectively partnering with Brand Teams, Territory Teams and Marketing COEs via cross functional alignments

Consumer Understanding into Insight

  • Embrace the love of consumer mentality and ensure the plans are consumer-led by fully understanding habits, usage and needs and translating that into actionable JTBDs and Marketing Briefs.

  • Understanding consumers and customers to discover insights

  • Execution Excellence of Strategy Plans with Brands and Territories

  • Developing competitive brand mixes and executing them flawlessly through a strongly tied and orchestrated GTM plan

  • Partnering with Brands to developing range or product architectures and product promotions

  • Aligning cross-functional teams to Jobs-to-be-done

  • Drive behaviour of empowerment, experimentation and collaboration.

Territory Activation

  • Developing detailed brand activity plans - What, Who, Where, By When

  • Working with CMG and NTM teams to achieve targets for placements, listings and point-of-sale visibility
    - Developing and Executing communication plans in-territories

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Experience in Marketing, particularly previous experience in Telco is preferred, communication development, media strategy and deployment, activation planning and deployment.

  • Experience in executing with and through partnering with internal stakeholders and teams.

  • Proficiency in briefing, critiquing and providing direction to agencies on various elements of communication development and activation

  • Strong understanding of Brand Management, Brand activation, and Channel marketing with breadth in Customer marketing, Brand Development, Product and Market Research interaction.

  • Proven experience in developing programs and business cases through to launch.

  • Commercial acumen and experience working in a cross-functional team with holistic P&L responsibility.

  • Experience managing direct reports, and/or fulfilling coaching and mentoring roles for others.

  • Strong project management skills, with experience in developing mixes. - Good understanding of all aspects of consumer insight, including monitoring brand health, measuring comms effectiveness, innovation insights and evaluation, and sales performance monitoring.

  • Ability to make things happen at the fast pace of Telco, from early signals, trends to product in market. - Inspire, energize and develop your reports, other functional reports and project teams.

  • Ability to work as part of virtual teams overcoming the geographical and cultural differences with the key territories of focus.

  • Appreciation for local culture, ability to spot & leverage on market, social and cultural changes.

  • 3+ years Experience in Global, regional & local marketing roles, South East Asia is preferred

  • Experience in Telco

  • Experience in digital marketing

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing Degree or Post Graduate Qualifications
