All Weather Seal of West Michigan is seeking an Installation Manager to oversee our Northern Michigan production operations. This is a leadership role responsible for managing installation crews, improving operational efficiency, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring outstanding customer experience. This is not a working foreman position. We're looking for a leader who can build systems, develop people, and drive production performance across multiple product lines.

What You'll Do

As the Installation Manager, you'll oversee daily production operations while leading installation teams across multiple home improvement divisions.


Operations & Production Management

  • Lead multiple installation crews across the Northern Michigan market
  • Ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to company quality standards
  • Monitor installation schedules and maximize production efficiency
  • Conduct job site inspections and quality assurance audits
  • Resolve installation issues, customer escalations, and service concerns
  • Coordinate closely with Sales, Scheduling, Customer Service, and Purchasing departments

Team Leadership

  • Recruit, onboard, and develop installation crews
  • Coach crew leaders to improve productivity and accountability
  • Conduct performance reviews and ongoing training
  • Establish clear expectations and performance standards
  • Foster a positive, high-performance culture focused on continuous improvement

Process Improvement

  • Analyze workflows to identify production bottlenecks
  • Develop and improve Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)
  • Monitor production KPIs, including installation cycle times, quality metrics, labor efficiency, and profitability
  • Implement operational improvements that increase efficiency and customer satisfaction
  • Improve communication between departments to streamline project execution

Warehouse & Inventory Management

  • Oversee warehouse organization and inventory control
  • Ensure materials are accurately ordered, received, staged, and delivered
  • Minimize material waste and installation delays
  • Coordinate with vendors and suppliers to maintain inventory availability

Qualifications

  • 3+ years of experience in construction management, production management, operations management, or home improvement leadership
  • Experience leading multiple crews or field teams
  • Strong leadership, coaching, and employee development skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
  • Experience with CRM, production software, or scheduling systems is a plus
  • Valid driver's license
