The ideal candidate will be doing physical, hands on work, on a construction site and needs to have good communication skills, excellent problem solving capabilities, and work well within a team environment. Position: Construction Laborer
Overview:
Assist other crafts in constructing the project. Perform tasks involving physical labor at construction projects.
Typical Duties:
  • Distribute materials and tools
  • Operate certain types of motorized equipment
  • Jack hammering
  • Clean and organize construction site
  • Pour concrete
  • Rig materials for lifting
  • Set materials in place
  • Give hand signal instructions to operators
  • Use of hand tools and power tools
  • Properly follow OSHA safety procedures
  • Responsible for other duties assigned for the job
Qualifications:
  • 1 years experience in field or related field
  • Ability to understand, follow and transmit written and oral instructions
  • Ability to give and understand hand signals
  • Regular and punctual attendance
