SUMMARY:  The Jewelry Consignment Coordinator plays a vital role in supporting the Jewelry department by managing the intake and processing of consigned property while delivering exceptional client service throughout the consignment process. This position ensures each consignment is received, documented, tracked, and communicated accurately while supporting specialists and Consignment Directors in a fast-paced luxury environment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Process incoming consignments accurately and efficiently, including:
  • Opening packages
  • Labeling and verifying the contents of packages
  • Creating an electronic report for the consignment
  • Communicate with clients in all aspects of the consignment
  • Research the status of consignments
  • Return client material
  • Perform department-wide inventories of consignment material
  • Assemble client information packets
  • Assist with the Consignment Directors' responsibilities
  • Other duties may be assigned

Requirements

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a customer service position or industry

SKILLS & ABILITIES:

  • Proficiency in Microsoft applications, specifically Word and Excel
  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task and pay great attention to detail
  • The individual may occasionally lift up to 50 pounds

WORK ENVIRONMENT: Individuals must be able to work independently in a fast-paced environment. This position may require overnight travel based on business needs.
