Job Description
Connected Services Field Coach

Are you passionate about technology, coaching, and helping others succeed? As a Connected Services Field Coach, you'll serve as a trusted advisor and performance partner for assigned dealerships, helping teams maximize their connected services potential. Through hands-on coaching, strategic consulting, and data-driven insights, you'll empower dealership personnel with the knowledge, tools, and confidence needed to effectively sell, activate, and support connected vehicle services.
In this highly visible role, you'll collaborate with dealership leadership, client field representatives, and program teams to drive measurable results, improve customer experiences, and create sustainable dealership processes that lead to long-term success.
What You'll Do
Coaching & Development
  • Deliver engaging, high-impact coaching sessions focused on connected services sales, activation, and customer support.
  • Partner closely with dealership leadership teams to establish and optimize connected services processes within their stores.
  • Train dealership personnel on effective utilization of the Dealer Rewards Portal, including one-time pay (OTP) sales opportunities and free trial activations.
  • Lead Monthly Performance Reviews with client Zone Teams, showcasing successes, identifying opportunities, and sharing best practices that align dealership and organizational goals.

Consulting & Support
  • Conduct regular in-person and virtual dealership visits to provide ongoing support, guidance, and performance coaching.
  • Analyze dealership performance metrics to identify trends, uncover opportunities, and recommend actionable strategies that increase activation rates and OTP sales.
  • Coach dealership teams on proven sales and customer engagement techniques that drive connected services success.
  • Collaborate with client field representatives to ensure coaching initiatives support regional business objectives and priorities.

Performance Management
  • Monitor dealership progress toward activation and sales goals.
  • Develop customized action plans that address performance gaps and accelerate results.
  • Provide regular updates to program leadership on dealership performance, challenges, achievements, and growth opportunities.

Communication & Collaboration
  • Build strong relationships and maintain open communication with dealership personnel, client field representatives, and program stakeholders.
  • Participate in business reviews and strategy discussions to provide field insights and performance updates.
  • Share success stories, best practices, and lessons learned with fellow coaches to strengthen overall program effectiveness.

Continuous Improvement & Innovation
  • Collect dealership feedback to enhance coaching content, resources, and program processes.
  • Stay current on evolving connected vehicle technologies and connected services offerings.
  • Continuously seek new ways to improve dealership engagement, adoption, and overall performance.

The wage range for this role takes into account the wide range of factors that are considered in making compensation decisions including but not limited to skill sets, experience and training, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate may not have been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At MSXi, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range is $80k to $90k based on current experience.
