The Aviator Assistant Restaurant Manager 

Position Summary 

The Assistant Manager is responsible for supporting the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, with a primary focus on delivering exceptional guest experiences, overseeing bar operations, and leading front-of-house team members. This role works closely with the General Manager to ensure service standards, Team member performance, and operational excellence are consistently achieved while maintaining a positive and productive work environment. 

Key Responsibilities 

Guest Service & Hospitality 

  • Lead by example in providing exceptional hospitality and service to all guests. 
  • Resolve guest concerns, complaints, and service recovery situations promptly and professionally. 
  • Ensure all guests receive attentive, friendly, and efficient service. 
  • Conduct regular dining room walkthroughs to monitor service quality and guest satisfaction. 
  • Build relationships with regular guests and promote a welcoming atmosphere. 

Front-of-House Leadership 

  • Supervise and support servers, bartenders, hosts, food runners, and support staff. 
  • Manage floor operations during service periods to ensure efficient execution. 
  • Coach, motivate, and develop team members through ongoing feedback and training. 
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and assist with scheduling based on business needs. 
  • Conduct pre-shift meetings to communicate goals, promotions, and operational updates.

Bar Operations
