Job Schedule: 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days - totaling 80 hours worked - and have every other Friday off

Job Description:

This is a position that requires an experienced professional with strong knowledge of Windows Client management in an enterprise environment. This includes, but is not limited to, strong knowledge of Windows as a Service, Microsoft Configuration Manager, software/application packaging, Group Policy, and remote administration and troubleshooting. Creative and critical thinking skills are essential.

Works under general supervision and consists of making moderate enhancements or improvements to systems and processes that improve performance of job area. Typically, responsible for creation and maintenance of technical documentation within job area, as well as providing guidance, coaching, and training to other employees.

 

Essential Functions:

  • Lifecycle management of Windows as a Service
  • Windows Client OS configuration, testing, deployment, and issue tracking
  • Software package development, testing, deployment, and issue tracking
  • Maintaining enterprise level configuration and management of Windows Client OS
  • Proactive discovery and remediation of potential issues within job area
  • Interpret a customer's description of a problem and determine possible solutions
  • Educate and train support level staff in the use of established processes
  • Coordinate with hardware and software vendors to troubleshoot problems as needed
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation on processes and procedures for all systems within job area

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree and minimum 4 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum 2 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 8 years of prior related experience.

Preferred Additional Skills:

  • Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Microsoft Active Directory Administration (GPO)
  • Software/application packaging and deployment
  • Scripting (preferably with Visual Basic and PowerShell)
  • Microsoft Windows Client Administration
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Configuration Manager
  • Strong knowledge of Windows as a Service
  • Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
  • Relevant vendor certifications (ITIL, CompTIA, Microsoft, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft Government Tenants (GCC High)

In compliance with pay transparency requirements, the salary range for this role in California, Massachusetts, New Jersey, Washington, and the Greater D.C, Denver, or NYC areas is $79,000-$147,000. The salary range for this role in Colorado state, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Minnesota, New York state, and Vermont is $69,000-$128,500. This is not a guarantee of compensation or salary, as final offer amount may vary based on factors including but not limited to experience and geographic location.
