Job Description

Tensley Consulting is seeking a Configuration Manager Level 3 to support configuration management activities for developmental and operational systems. This role is responsible for maintaining system configuration baselines and ensuring proper version control across development, test, and production environments. The Configuration Manager will work with engineering and operational teams to implement configuration management policies, maintain system documentation, and support change control processes. This role also supports system build, staging, testing, and integration activities while ensuring configuration standards are followed throughout the system lifecycle.


Education / Experience

Eight (8) years of experience as a Configuration Manager supporting programs of similar scope and complexity is required.

Bachelor’s degree in a technical or business discipline from an accredited college or university. A Master’s degree may substitute for two (2) years of experience. Four (4) additional years of CM experience may substitute for a bachelor’s degree


Salary: $123,000-$133,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position, but is not guaranteed. Salary is based on experience, location and contractual requirements which could fall outside of the range listed.

  • Five (5) years of demonstrated experience supporting Information Assurance (IA) configuration management requirements, including CM aspects of physical and virtual access controls, labeling, and maintenance procedures as defined in System Security Plans (SSP) and related security documentation.
