Key Responsibilities


  • Responsible for all production and repair activities in support of assigned product lines.
  • Initiates and drives to completion productivity projects across all of operations.
  • Implements and maintains an Engineering Change Notice System.
  • These changes will include product improvements, repairs, and new product development.
  • Coordinates the interaction between engineering, manufacturing, field operations, and marketing to ensure appropriate changes are documented.
  • Support the ESs with thorough review of drawing packages and coordination of assembly documentation for release.
  • Liaison with engineering personnel to ensure documentation is accurate and ready for change processing. Provide CAD file updating as needed for ECO output or new documentation needs.
  • Support new programs - Provide support for a brand new technical data package by working directly with the ES Manager to ensure package is complete, identifying missing data and reviewing CAD files for completeness.
  • Administer the Product Data Management (PDM) system, manage PDM folder permissions, and migrate documentation to the PDM upon approval.
  • Provide source file efforts to capture design data on licensing products by ensuring CAD model files function correctly.
  • Assist the ESs in preparing official documentation for customer communication as necessary, such as Engineering Change Proposals, Deviations, Waivers, and CDRL reporting.
  • Support other departments as necessary in their needs for ES Management information.
  • In conjunction with the ES Manager, lead, guide, and train ES Department personnel in the performance of related work, ensuring that all work is within guidelines of Extant' processes, procedures, and customer specifications.


Education & Experience Requirements


  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or a related field preferred, plus a minimum of 1 year of direct industry experience, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills, with the ability to influence and build consensus in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and comfort with data-driven decision-making.
