FTI is searching for a Configuration Analyst to support the Product Engineering team in Menasha, WI. This person is responsible for managing and coordinating the release, revisioning, and lifecycle of engineering data across multiple enterprise systems. This role ensures data integrity, traceability, and timely communication of engineering changes throughout the organization. The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented professional with strong organizational skills and a deep understanding of engineering documentation and change management processes.


This position interfaces with cross-functional teams including Engineering, Product Management, Manufacturing, Quality, and IT to ensure seamless integration and synchronization of data across platforms such as CPQ, Autodesk Inventor, Autodesk Vault, Autodesk Fusion Manage, Acumatica ERP, MES, and QMS.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Associate's degree in Engineering Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Certification in Configuration Management or Change Management (e.g., CMII, PMP) preferred
  • 5+ years of experience in engineering change management or configuration control
  • Strong understanding of document control and revisioning practices, as well as engineering documentation, CAD tools, and PLM systems
  • Experience working with ERP systems (preferably Acumatica)
  • Enthusiastic and optimistic personality that understands how to operate as a change agent
  • Experience working in a matrixed organization

Travel: 5-10%

Work Schedule: This position works between the hours of 7 AM and 5 PM, Monday- Friday. Works a sufficient schedule to meet the expectations of the role.

Work Location: This role requires work to be done Onsite from our Menasha, WI office. Our onsite roles include a high level of workplace and schedule flexibility to support a healthy work-life balance.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Coordinates the release and revisioning of engineering data across CPQ, Autodesk Inventor, Vault, Fusion Manage, Acumatica ERP, MES, and QMS.

  • Ensures accurate and timely documentation of engineering changes, including ECRs, ECOs, ECNs, and BOM updates.

  • Maintains synchronization of product data across systems to support manufacturing, procurement, and quality functions.

  • Collaborates with engineering and product teams to validate change requests and ensure compliance with internal standards.

  • Monitors and reports on the status of engineering changes and data integrity across platforms.

  • Supports audits and compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate records and traceability of changes.

  • Provides training and support to users on engineering change processes and system usage.

  • Continuously improves change management workflows and tools to enhance efficiency and data accuracy.

  • Performs other related duties as required and assigned.
