Your New Opportunity:

The Senior Conference Services Manager will manage our small conference services team, collaborate with our banquet services team, to bring life to events that reflect SCP's core values - healthy, kind, and green. From revenue strategy to flawless event execution, this role blends strategic leadership with hands-on hospitality.
You'll serve as the primary connection between our clients and our teams, guiding events from vision through execution with intention, empathy, and excellence. We have fun here at SCP and at Salishan, expect laughter, creativity, and a team that celebrates wins (big and small).



What You Will Do:

-Develop and implement revenue goals strategies to maximize department profitability. Analyze trends, customer behavior, and competitive activity to identify opportunities for growth and improvement. 

-Oversee conference-only, small group and wedding events.

-Partner with clients to plan, develop and execute programming, activities, and sessions that align with SCP's Core Values. 

-Communicate with clients and internal teams to prepare and coordinate in advance of group events. 

- Manage and track equipment, decor and overall facility needs. 

-Oversee event flow, food and beverage standards, setup/teardown, and unabashedly SCP levels of hospitality. 

-Function as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the event coordination, execution and follow-up process, communicating frequently to the sales managers. 

-Provide tours of the property and site inspections and ensure the meeting spaces are consistently "show-ready" when unoccupied. 

-Responsible for department cohesion, communication and morale. 

-Manage the fiscal resources of the department to ensure profitability. 

-Ensure accurate and up-to-date banquet event orders and group resumes are distributed 


Requirements

The Essentials: 

  • An experienced hospitality leader (3+ years progressive hotel/resort event management experience preferred)
  • Skilled in demand forecasting, pricing strategy, and distribution strategy
  • Calm under pressure, empathetic in leadership, and exceptional in service delivery
  • Available to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
  • Experience with Delphi is essential
