Job description

The Rocks, located in Scottsdale, AZ, is pleased to announce an excellent career opportunity for a Concierge! We are seeking a driven individual who is eager to learn, contribute, and grow within a fast-paced hospitality-focused property organization. As part of Troon, you'll contribute to a global leader in golf and community management.
Essential Duties & Key Responsibilities:
  • Meets and greets all owners & guests in a pleasant, courteous and professional manner
  • Assists owners, visitors, & associates with inquiries and directions
  • Operates as an information source of the area during their stay
  • Promotes all of the facilities and area attractions as well as provides detailed contact information & directional assistance
  • Answers all incoming calls to the Concierge desk and main switchboard
  • Communicates with owners & guests to make all pre-arrival arrangements & plan their itinerary of activities
  • Establishes and maintains numerous relationships with vendors/suppliers for The Rocks
  • Assist with dining reservations, tee time bookings, spa appointments, transportation arrangements and activities & excursions as requested.
  • Assists with any special arrangements for owners & guests
  • Works with various destination club representatives to provide specialized service in accordance with their various SOP's.
  • Serves as liaison between owners/guests with housekeeping needs and maintenance requests.
  • Create Food & Beverage Function Sheets/BEO's for pre-arrival hors d'oeuvres, BBQ packs, In-villa dinners and other amenities as requeste
  • Assists Food & Beverage Department with coordination & marketing of clubhouse special events
  • Performs other duties as required that may include - but not limited to- accurately posting charges to owner/guest house bills; process departure charges to owner/guest account based on established procedures, assists with the reservation process, conducts property/villa tours as needed as well as additional standard operating procedures set forth by various owner/destination clubs.
  • Consistent and reliable attendance.

Qualifications
  • Minimum of one-year related experience or training. (Previous concierge and/or event planning experience preferred)
  • Excel in a team-oriented work environment
  • Exceptional organizational and administrative skills; detail oriented & ability to multitask a must
  • Ability to communicate verbally & proficient with grammar & spelling. Ability to facilitate general inquiries sensibly.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office required
  • Highly focused on providing superior customer servic
  • Comfortable in a Luxury Resort environmen
  • Ability to remain calm & professional in often demanding environment; ability to follow through with all requests, good judgment and strong decision-making skills and abilities
