Concession Manager-Ballfields

**The Concession Manager position is Seasonal**

*Typically beginning March with hiring and training beginning as early as January.

This position performs the daily operations and management of the concession stand and helps provided customer support. The Concessions Manager is responsible for performing routine tasks in inventory tracking, stocking, rotating, and ordering.

The Concession Manager directly supervises, trains and schedules Concessions staff as well as performs essential functions to include food and drink preparation. The Concession Manager provides customer service while selling, preparing, and serving food items and beverages

The Concession Manager maintains order at the concession stand and through the park by ensuring the rules and protocols are consistently and fairly enforced.

Minimum Qualifications

  • 18 years of age or older
  • Individuals that have current ServSafe Food Manager Certification, or can gain certification by employment and have 1-3 years of concession management experience
  • Familiarity with money handling, group rentals, recreation software, and customer service

Preference

Familiarity with the supervision and management of a concession stand located in an athletic complex.

Ability to prioritize tasks and delegate tasks to staff.

Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.

Position Requirements

Ability to use various computer programs including Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and other software programs and to accurately count money and run reports.

Physical Requirements

  • Ability to walk, run, stand, sit and complete a variety of motor skills
  • Ability to walk and/or stand on concrete for the majority of your shift
  • Ability to bend to the floor and reach overhead
  • Ability to lift and carry 30-70 pounds regularly to chest height
  • Ability to hear and see well

  • Ability to work in hot, cold, wet and/or other unpleasant outdoor conditions
  • Ability to work in a loud, fast-paced environment

Pay Rate

This position is $17.50 per hour.
