The primary role of this position requires a high level of organizational and communication skills. The Administrative Assistant will maintain a positive, solution-minded attitude with the ability to offer problem-solving solutions. The Administrative Assistant will work under the direct supervision of the Department Director and in harmony with other staff members and ministry team leaders in fulfilling the church’s purpose and vision to “Connect people with God and others!” Responsibilities: • Volunteer Scheduling • Service Planning Administration • Team Communication • Database Upkeep for Planning Center (Related to our teams) • Front Line Point of Contact for the Ministry • Recruiting Volunteers for weekend services • Recruiting Volunteers for Special Events • Volunteer Retention • Logistics for special events and projects • Support on weekends and special events • Front Desk support when needed • Purchasing and tracking invoices as related to Department needs • Preparation of weekly notes on the Bible App This is a full-time role. Typical work hours are Monday through Thursday, 9:00 AM–5:00 PM, and Sundays from 6:30 AM–12:30 PM. Days and hours can vary based on the following: • Special Events • Special Projects • Occasional mid-week evening support This job operates in a professional office environment, regularly subject to noise at the level of a concert venue.
