Job description

SENIOR BUSINESS SYSTEM ANALYST sought by Weld-On Adhesives, Inc. in Collierville, TN.
Job Duties
Work collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, Shipping, Transportation, Pricing and other business functions to gather requirements and design business processes, applications, and operational reports in Oracle JD Edwards El to support various applications and business areas. Perform business requirements and fit-gap analysis, prototyping, retrofitting of modifications, system configuration, data conversion and integration testing, conference room pilot, regression testing, system health check, and user training and development of functional design documents in Oracle JD Edwards Sales, Procurement, Product Data Management, Shop Floor Control, MRP, Advanced Warehousing, Transportation, Inventory modules. Test data preparation to assist technical programmers and analysts to debug and troubleshoot issues. Address and define medium to large project scopes and expectations and confirm that the application requirements are established within the project schedule. Collect business requirements, perform feasibility analysis, find gaps, and define project scope and design in Oracle JD Edwards E1. Follow prescribed software development life cycle and project management processes and procedures. Provide solutions for process improvement of IT processes and procedures. Collaborate with other IT team members on the integration of all systems, such as Electronic Data Interface, Label and Scanner integration, SAP, Planning Software, and DSI.
Job Requirements
Requires a bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, or related STEM field, plus five (5) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in project management or related experience in implementing JDE projects, including leading functional process and technical design and supporting assignments associated with JDE Inventory, Master Data Management, and Distribution and Manufacturing modules. Position also requires three (3) years of experience in: 1. Oracle JDE Sales, Distribution, Transportation, Advanced Pricing, Warehouse Management, and Application Security modules. 2. Designing and supporting JDE application integrations such as DSI Integration, Salesforce Integration, SAP Integration, Planning software, and EDI integration. 3. Designing and supporting implementation of Quality, Sales, and Purchase modules in JDE.
