Job Requirements
Starting Salary: $42,100 yearly + depending on experience. In addition to base salary, this role offers uncapped quarterly incentives that often average 100 percent of base earnings.
This is an on site position located in Verona, NY.
Turning Stone Enterprises is searching for their next Services Manager! This role requires a collaborative mindset and the ability to maximize revenue across all revenue streams-rooms, food & beverage, meeting room rental, and ancillary services-while acting as a strategic partner throughout the enterprise. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an organization that's growing!
Your day-to-day as a Services Manager
  • Works proactively with clients, procured by the Sales team, to plan all facets of their events, clearly identifying client goals and vision, and bringing it to fruition. Communicating any modifications or updates throughout the planning process in a timely and professional manner to ensure maximum client satisfaction and ease.
  • Achieves team and property revenue goals by driving food, beverage, and ancillary upsells, targeting no less than 10% beyond the contracted minimums.
  • Anticipates and handles guest needs and/or problems to ensure a high-quality experience is delivered, ensuring guest satisfaction scores across categories of 90% or greater.
  • Utilize Delphi FDC for BEO and diagram creation, as well as group resume distribution.
  • Conduct site inspections, tasting experiences, and client presentations introducing innovative event concepts and menu proposals.

Work Experience
Key attributes we're seeking in a Services Manager:
  • A High School Diploma. Bachelor's Degree in Hospitality, Sales or related field preferred.
  • Prior experience in a guest facing role in the service industry. Ideal candidate would have experience working in the hotel industry with banquet facilities.
  • Resourceful and innovative skills that deliver contemporary set-ups, menus, and experiences for groups.
  • The ability to effectively and efficiently utilize a variety of computer programs to include Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook. Prior working experience with a property management system, sales software preferred. Experience with Delphi is a plus!
  • Strong oral and written communication skills. Must have excellent interpersonal skills. Ability to create and confidently present materials that influence audience.
  • Present a professional appearance and confidence.
  • Detail-oriented and organized.
  • Are proficient in managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Have the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and all levels of management.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule to include weekends, evenings and holidays to support clients as needed. Core work hours vary and are based on events you are responsible to service.
