Job description

The Receptionist duties include, but are not limited to, greeting visitors and guests and directing them to the appropriate departments/areas; providing information and assistance to resident community members, guests and team members; assisting with training of new reception desk team members; receiving and directing organization’s incoming telephone calls; performing general clerical duties; providing support to staff as directed; and directing emergency matters to appropriate department(s). In addition, the Receptionist must exercise sound discretionary judgment, maintain appropriate confidentiality, present professionally at all times and work in cooperation with team members to provide a high standard of customer service.

Qualifications for the Receptionist position include:
  • Must have excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Must have ability to handle high stress situations in a professional manner during phone calls, resident requests, and emergencies.
  • Must have competent computer skills in MS Word, Excel, and E-Mail.
  • Prior front desk receptionist experience required.
