Job description

National Mechanical Experts Inc is currently looking for a dynamic, hardworking Compressed Air Technician to join our team for work in our Central North & South Carolina service areas.
The successful candidate will drive a service vehicle to customer sites daily across the service area, performing repair and maintenance on compressed air equipment.
Primary Responsibilities

  • Install, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair commercial compressed air systems and related equipment
  • Service air compressors, dryers, filters, piping systems, and associated components
  • Perform compressed air system audits and preventative maintenance
  • Support HVAC service work as needed
  • Communicate with customers regarding equipment condition and recommendations
  • Maintain accurate service documentation and follow all company safety standards
Experience/Education
  • Compressed air service experience required
  • Experience with air compressors, piping systems, and pipe threading equipment preferred
  • Minimum 2 years of commercial or industrial mechanical service experience preferred
  • HVAC service experience is an asset
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and customer service skills
  • Must have a clean driving record and able to pass a drug screen, background check & work authorization check
  • Maintain a positive attitude and willing to work in a team environment
  • Communication and customer service skills
  • Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations
