Summary
Compressed Air Equipment Inc., a renowned industry leader specializing in the sales and service of Industrial Air Compressors, is actively seeking a dedicated and dynamic Outside Technical Salesperson. We operate extensively in southern NJ, Eastern PA, DE, and the northern parts of MD, offering industry-leading brands and exceptional service and repair on all air compressor equipment types.
Responsibilities
As an Outside Technical Salesperson, your role will involve maintaining existing accounts while also identifying and cultivating new business opportunities to meet specific sales targets. You will be responsible for presenting technical equipment proposals and quotations for bid projects and customer inquiries.
Requirements
  • Prior experience in the compressed air industry and or technical sales is a mandatory requirement for this position.
  • Self-starter with high levels of energy and self-motivation.
  • Excellent mechanical aptitude.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and exemplary communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Ability to work in a team environment.
  • Strong computer skills, Microsoft Office Suite
  • Valid Driver's License with a clean driving record
  • Working knowledge of a geographic area.
  • Generate service and equipment proposals, quotations for bid projects, and customer inquiries.
  • Able to coordinate with inside team, service, and sales support staff in management of accounts, including parts procurement, service, and maintenance to enhance customer retention and loyalty - effectively manage all aspects of the buying cycle.
