Job description

Proline Mechanical is hiring a full-time Compressed Air Systems Technician to service and maintain industrial compressed air systems across the Chicago, IL area. This is a hands-on field technician role — you will be the expert our clients rely on.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

- Install, service, and repair compressed air systems (compressors, dryers, filters, piping)

- Perform preventive maintenance and emergency service calls

- Diagnose system issues and recommend solutions

- Build strong relationships with industrial clients across the region

- Keep accurate service records and reports

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:

- 2+ years experience in compressed air systems, HVAC/R, industrial equipment, or related mechanical field

- Strong troubleshooting skills — you can diagnose and fix fast

- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation

- Professional, customer-facing attitude

- EPA 608 or equivalent certification a plus

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

- $22-$42/hr depending on experience ($72K-$92K annually)
