Job description

Compensation Analyst – Houston, TX

Location: Houston, TX 77024
Schedule: Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Employment Type: Contract

TruBlu HR Solutions is seeking an experienced Compensation Analyst to support a large healthcare organization with compensation analysis, market pricing, and salary administration. This is an onsite contract opportunity for someone who enjoys working with data, compensation systems, and market research in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze compensation market data and salary survey information.
  • Participate in and complete third-party compensation surveys.
  • Price new and existing positions using market data and established compensation methodologies.
  • Conduct market comparisons and provide compensation analysis to support business decisions.
  • Maintain and utilize compensation software platforms and market pricing tools.
  • Review pay rate changes for compliance with company compensation policies.
  • Assist with job evaluations, job descriptions, and job classification reviews.
  • Analyze compensation trends and prepare reports to support salary planning and budgeting.
  • Research compensation issues and recommend solutions based on market data and internal equity.
  • Maintain accurate compensation records and documentation.
  • Communicate compensation policies and procedures to internal stakeholders.
  • Partner with HR and leadership to support compensation-related initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional compensation experience.
  • Strong analytical skills with experience working with large datasets.
  • Experience completing compensation and salary surveys.
  • Proficiency in job pricing and market analysis.
  • Experience using enterprise compensation platforms such as PayFactors, Payscale, MarketPay, or similar systems.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
