Job description

Princeton Baptist Medical Center, located in Birmingham, Alabama, is seeking a full-time emergency medicine assistant medical director to join our team. Work in a busy, well-supported emergency department with strong specialty support.

Qualifications and Leadership Duties
  • Leadership experience strongly preferred
  • ABEM/AOBEM: board certified or board eligible 
  • Support the facility medical director in overseeing ED operations and clinical performance

  • Monitor patient outcomes, identify opportunities for improvement and implement initiatives that enhance care, quality and efficiency
  • Champion safety and best practices throughout the emergency department
