Job description

Job Summary

Reviews, analyzes, evaluates, manages, and maintains assigned business systems, develops value-added technical solutions to address NAL business needs, and provides end-user application and technical support.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

1. Develops, maintains, and implements streamlined and improved processes and systems for the Sales & Marketing department to ensure accuracy and timeliness of business reports.

2. Consults with users and clarifies processes and procedures within the system objectives.

3. Develops and implements data collection systems and other strategies that optimize efficiency and data quality.

4. Follows a standard process from testing and validation to implementation.

5. Develops and implements methodology and tracking mechanisms to automate and standardize departmental, NAL, and Koito reports and submits accurate reports on a timely basis.

     a. Documents current and proposed workflow processes.

     b. Creates user level and programmer work instructions.

6. Oversees functionality of Sales and Marketing Systems.

     a. Tracks open issues and makes suggestions for improvement.

     b. Works with IT and Technical Services to ensure issues are resolved.

     c. Provides training/updates to NAL personnel regarding changes or modifications.

7. Provides analytical support of Sales & Marketing data

8. Stays current with and maintains a high level of knowledge of assigned business systems.

9. Supports IATF16949/ISO compliance for Sales office

10. Maintain Sales data integrity in systems shared with other departments.

11. Train and mentor level one Sales & Marketing Systems Analysts.

12. Performs other duties as assigned.


The salary range for this position is $64,800- $89,400 per year. Final compensation will be determined by location, skills, experience, qualifications, and the career level at which the position is filled.

Requirements

1. Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.

2. 2 to 4 years of experience supporting financial, administration, and/or automotive release systems applications, and developing end user reports for business applications.

3. Experience with the following is preferred:

      a. Document Control Systems and/or Technical Writing

      b. One or more application/Web development languages

      c. Relational Database Management Systems and structured Query Language

      d. ERP and/or MES applications

      e. Azure cloud services (Office365, Power BI, Power Apps, OpenAI Studio)

      f. Virtualization/fabric data architectures, forecasting tools and AI/machine learning (especially Palantir Foundry)

4. Strong knowledge, skills, and abilities in the following areas:

      a. Knowledge and understanding of the principles of networking and TCP/IP.

       b. Analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail

       c. Organizational, planning, and project management skills.

       d. Computer skills - proficiency using stand business software, MS Office

       e. Written and verbal communications and presentation skills.

        f. Interpersonal skills - the ability to work in a team environment, confidently interact with individuals at all levels of authority, and maintain composure in pressure situation
