We're seeking a professional, customer-focused Office Security Coordinator to serve as the first point of contact for employees, visitors, candidates, and guests at a thriving San Francisco office. What You'll Do

  • Welcome and assist visitors, candidates, vendors, and employees with professionalism and warmth
  • Manage visitor check-in processes and ensure compliance with workplace safety and security requirements
  • Verify guest identities and maintain accurate visitor records
  • Coordinate guest arrivals with internal teams to create a seamless experience
  • Administer employee and visitor access badges through an access control system
  • Maintain security documentation, visitor logs, and compliance records
  • Serve as the primary onsite contact for security-related questions and escalations
  • Partner with workplace and operations teams to support office events and guest access planning
  • Assist with emergency preparedness initiatives, evacuation planning, and workplace safety protocols
  • Help create a welcoming, safe, and efficient office environment for everyone onsite

What We're Looking For

  • 1-3 years of experience in security, front desk, workplace services, facilities, hospitality, or a related field
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service mindset with a proactive, solution-oriented approach
  • Ability to remain calm, professional, and resourceful in fast-paced environments
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable working independently
  • Willingness to learn workplace security and California compliance requirements

Nice to Have

  • Experience supporting a corporate office, technology company, or co-working environment
  • Familiarity with access control systems such as Brivo or similar platforms
  • Experience with visitor management software
  • CPR and/or First Aid certification
