Preferred Home Base: Columbus, Ohio

Daily territory travel with some overnight.

What You'll Do

Grow the Business

  • Grow sales of ARDEX and HENRY products throughout your territory
  • Identify and secure new business opportunities through prospecting, networking, and jobsite activity
  • Develop and execute territory sales plans and growth strategies
  • Utilize CRM tools to track activities, opportunities, and customer engagement

Build Strong Customer Partnerships

  • Develop relationships with distributors, contractors, architects, designers, and other industry influencers
  • Strengthen existing customer relationships while expanding market penetration
  • Deliver exceptional customer service and responsiveness throughout the sales process

Provide Technical Expertise

  • Conduct product demonstrations, contractor clinics, and educational training programs
  • Support contractors on jobsites with product recommendations and technical guidance
  • Drive product specification activity within the architectural and design community
  • Partner closely with technical, marketing, and customer support teams to provide complete customer solutions

What You'll Bring

  • Proven success in outside sales within building materials, construction products, flooring, tiling, or related industries. Experience working with flooring or tile installation systems is preferred
  • Strong relationship-building and business development skills
  • Technical aptitude with the ability to learn and apply product systems in real-world applications
  • Effective presentation and communication skills, including training and demonstration experience
  • Practical problem-solving abilities and a customer-focused approach
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a territory effectively

Requirements

  • Four-year college degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant industry experience
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Ability to travel daily throughout the territory, including occasional overnight travel
  • Ability to lift up to 70 pounds occasionally and carry up to 55 pounds
  • Ability to safely operate power and non-power tools
