A Day in the Life of the Community Relations Manager I:

Location: Could be based out of Lehigh Valley, PA, New York, NY, or Washington, DC

A Community Relations Manager acts as a workplace liaison, mediating between community properties, management, and employees to ensure contract compliance, rapport, resolving escalations and grievances, and fostering positive communication. They are essential for maintaining a cooperative, informed, and productive work environment by conducting correspondence, investigations, delivering training, and ensuring policy adherence.

  • Astoundambassador to themultifamily communityand advocates for themultifamily communitywith internal stakeholders
  • Negotiate renewal of 40 units & under contracts to maximize retention of currentbulk base whilemaintainingmargins
  • As a key member of themultifamilyteam, provide insight into bulkcommunityin the renewal cycle
  • Facilitate swift resolution to any issues that may arise at themultifamily community
  • Address anycommunity-wide service problems and escalated resident issues
  • Consistently communicate pertinent information to thepropertymanager
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship to foster a partnering atmosphere
  • Conductface-to-faceor virtual visitsof the entire propertyportfolio
  • Review quarterly building scorecards with assigned portfolio
  • Coordinatewith property managementall on-boarding and renewal events attheproperty
  • Work to close any gaps in serviceperceptionsbetween Astound and the property
  • Utilize promotional campaigns, onsiteactivitiesand internal resources to achieve established goals
  • Provide training on all new and existing products and solutions
  • Other duties as assigned

What You Bring to the Table:

  • 2-5 years' experienceas aliaison between company and clientspreferred
  • Ahigh levelof professionalism and customer service focus are critical
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to multi-task, pay strong attention to detail and thoroughfollow-upskills arerequired
  • Identifytheappropriate internalresources to resolvebuilding relatedissues
  • Heavily involved with internal cross-functional teams

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent

Base Salary:The base salary range for this position is $65,000- $75,000annually, plus opportunities for bonus,benefitsand commission, if applicable. The base pay rangerepresentsthe low and high end of the hiring range for this job.Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based onvarious factorsincluding but notlimited to relevant skills, experience, and capabilities.
