Description of the Position: (Purpose of the Position): The Programming Board Student Social Media Organizer is responsible for managing and overseeing all digital platforms and social media accounts associated with the Programming Board (Instagram, LinkTree)

Duties and Responsibilities: 

  • Manage and oversee all digital platforms and social media accounts associated with the Programming Board.

  • Manage the Programming Board's web presence on the Office of Student Activities website and Presence.

  • Meet weekly with the Assistant Director of Student Activities.

  • Maintain two weekly office hours in the Office of Student Activities.

  • Assist with the training of the incoming Social Media Organizer in collaboration with the incoming Programming Board Co-Chairs.

  • Assist with Office of Student Activities initiatives including but not limited to trainings, programming reports, Presence data review, financial reports, etc.

  • Identify marketing priorities and develop PR campaigns (using web, special events, etc.) to advertise events and initiatives of the Programming Board.

  • Work alongside Creative Organizer to distribute content.
