Job Title/Position: Marketing/Community Liaison/Clinical Marketing Liaison

Reports To: Director of Business Development/VP of Business Development

The Community Liaison/Clinical Marketing Liaison will be responsible for facilitating patient admissions to Hospice via marketing and education activities with contracted and potentially contracted hospitals, skilled nursing facilities, physician, and other community resources. Proven track record and strong community contacts preferred.

Some of the specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

  1. Generate business by creating new and maintaining existing relationships with physicians and other medical professionals, community and senior organizations, hospitals, appropriate special interest groups, discharge planners, nursing home professionals, assisted living facilities, and other potential referral sources.
  2. Prepare and conduct calls and In-service presentations to potential referral sources.
  3. Participate in community and organizational programs, making presentations and joining as a member where appropriate, to facilitate a broader knowledge of the Hospice philosophy and to promote Anchor Health services.
  4. Promote an atmosphere which allows for the privacy, dignity and well-being of all patients.
  5. Promote positive public relations with patients, family members, and healthcare providers.
  6. Serve as a resource both internally and externally by supporting the mission and vision of the organization, particularly as it applies to palliative and end of life care.


Education:

Bachelor's Degree in a related field (preferable)

Professional Experience:

  • Experience in marketing, preferably hospice or other healthcare environment (i.e. Home Health, Long Term Care, Pharmaceuticals)
  • Clinical liaison (LVN or RN) with strong Marketing skills and experience preferred but not required 
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Self-starter with ability to create own leads.
  • Able to maintain an organized approach to territory management and work with limited supervision.
  • Able to work as part of an inter-disciplinary team.
  • Able to meet and exceed monthly goals.
  • Able to support and promote the Hospice philosophy to referral sources in the medical industry
