Job description

Now Hiring: Community Liaison Director

The Community Liaison Director (CLD) is responsible for driving private pay occupancy at Greenleaf Senior Living
through proactive lead generation, disciplined sales process management, and strong community and referral partner
relationships. This role owns the full sales funnel from first inquiry through move-in, with an emphasis on growing
private pay census relative to government-pay sources. The ideal candidate brings a strong private pay sales
background along with working knowledge of the skilled nursing referral landscape and government-pay programs
such as CalAIM and Assisted Living Waiver (ALW), enabling them to effectively position Greenleaf across a full
spectrum of prospective residents and referral sources.

Green Leaf Senior Living

8101 Painter Ave

Whittier, CA 90602

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage all incoming inquiries, tours, and move-ins using the communitys CRM (Welcome Home), ensuring
accurate and timely activity logging.
• Drive private pay move-ins through disciplined lead follow-up, in accordance with Oxford Health Groups
forecasting standard (deposit check and confirmed move-in date required before a prospect counts toward
forecast).
• Conduct compelling, discovery-based tours that connect family motivations to Greenleafs offering rather than
leading with a features list.
• Develop and maintain local referral relationships, including elder law attorneys, geriatric care managers, hospital
and skilled nursing discharge planners, and financial advisors.
• Maintain working knowledge of the skilled nursing discharge and referral process, and of government-pay
pathways such as CalAIM and ALW, in order to appropriately counsel and route prospective families regardless of
payer source.
• Partner with the Executive Director on proactive, sales-process-integrated closing efforts, not only as a late-stage
rescue tool.
• Track and report funnel metrics, including lead-to-tour conversion, tour-to-deposit conversion, deposit-to-move-
in conversion, and speed-to-lead.
• Support move-out risk management by identifying at-risk residents and coordinating retention efforts with the
community team.
• Participate in monthly platform training and scored coaching modules, and complete all required certifications on
schedule.
• Represent Greenleaf Senior Living professionally within the local community, including outreach events, referral
visits, and networking activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Minimum 2–3 years of senior living, healthcare, or related sales experience, with demonstrated private pay sales
success strongly preferred.
• Preferred: working knowledge of the skilled nursing system, including discharge planning and placement
processes.
• Preferred: familiarity with CalAIM and the Assisted Living Waiver (ALW) program, including eligibility basics and
how these payer sources interact with private pay sales strategy.
• Proven ability to manage a full sales funnel and meet monthly move-in goals.
• Strong relationship-building skills with referral sources, families, and internal community leadership.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM systems (Welcome Home preferred) and general computer/office software.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered.
