Overview

The Sr. Community Impact Partner is the enterprise owner of Patelco’s community platform across two strategic pillars—Financial Empowerment for All and Community Investment & Financial Resilience. This role brings cohesion, clarity, and visibility to Patelco’s community efforts by aligning cross-functional teams, strengthening partnerships, and delivering a unified narrative that showcases Patelco’s impact in priority markets.

This role serves as the enterprise orchestrator of Patelco’s community story, collaborating with Membership Development, Financial Literacy/Education, Marketing Communications, Public Affairs, Branches, Advocacy, Member Experience, and Internal Communications to unify, elevate, and amplify our collective impact.


Responsibilities
  • Lead Patelco’s community impact strategy across the organization’s community focus areas.
  • Develop and maintain the annual community impact roadmap, integrated activation calendar, and partnership portfolio aligned with brand and business priorities.
  • Serve as the central connector ensuring community initiatives ladder into a cohesive enterprise narrative and measurable impact.
  • Build and maintain relationships with nonprofit organizations, government agencies, educational institutions, and community partners.
  • Develop partnership frameworks including strategic, flagship, and local partnerships with defined outcomes and engagement plans.
  • Represent Patelco at community meetings, industry events, nonprofit gatherings, and local engagement initiatives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand Patelco’s presence and partnerships within priority markets.
  • Serve as a strategic connector between external organizations and internal teams, ensuring partnerships are supported through coordinated solutions—such as financial education, wellness programming, and relevant products and services—that advance mutual goals.
  • Plan and execute community events that align with our community pillars, sponsorship activations, volunteer programs, and member engagement initiatives.
  • Coordinate logistics for events including vendors, volunteers, speakers, and community partners.
  • Support executive and leadership participation in community speaking engagements and events.
  • Manage event inventory including promotional items, signage, and supplies.
  • Design and lead volunteerism programs that increase participation, strengthen culture, and expand community impact.
  • Coordinate volunteer participation across branches and departments.
  • Partner with Internal Communications to promote volunteer opportunities and highlight impact stories.
  • Collaborate with Marketing, Public Affairs, Membership Development, and other key departments to elevate Patelco’s community initiatives through media, social, and internal channels.
  • Compile and distribute daily media monitoring reports and monthly community impact summaries.
  • Deliver regional playbooks and branch toolkits to localize stories and activations in priority markets.
  • Build and maintain a community story library including impact stories, photos, testimonials, and partnership highlights.
  • Build and steward community sponsorships, grants, and charitable giving programs aligned to Patelco’s strategic pillars
  • Maintain systems to track nonprofit partnerships, sponsorship investments, and community contributions, with defined outcomes that support enterprise objectives and community impact.
  • Ensure timely processing of payments and accurate documentation of giving initiatives.
  • Support reporting of community investment outcomes aligned with Patelco’s mission and strategic goals.
  • Ensure community initiatives adhere to Patelco’s brand, compliance, and risk-management standards.
  • Monitor and coordinate CCPA-related requests related to community and communications programs.
  • Maintain awareness of regulatory requirements including privacy, financial services compliance, and charitable reporting obligations

Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, or related field; equivalent experience considered
  • 9+ years of experience in community relations, corporate social responsibility, community partnership management, event planning, or related areas
  • Proven experience designing and executing integrated community, marketing, or philanthropic campaigns
  • Strong understanding of marketing channels including digital, social, email, events, and traditional media
  • Experience with project management tools and processes
  • Demonstrated ability to assess impact and support ROI measurement for community initiatives
  • This position is based out of the Dublin HQ office; 25% travel required
  • Nights and weekends may be required depending on event schedules or community impact role needs

Target Base Pay

$105,004 - $131,259/ yr
