Job description

Hospitalist (Part-Time, Day Shift) – Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita – Sahuarita, AZ

Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita is seeking a Board Eligible or Board Certified Internal Medicine or Family Medicine physician to join its Hospital Medicine Program in Sahuarita, Arizona, as a Part-Time Day Hospitalist. This opportunity offers an excellent balance of clinical practice and scheduling flexibility within a supportive, community-based inpatient environment.

At Northwest Medical Center at Sahuarita, you’ll be part of Community Health Systems (CHS), a national network of regional hospitals with a shared mission to deliver high-quality care close to home.

Position Highlights
  • Schedule & Shift: Dedicated Part-Time Day Shift coverage.

  • Shift Length: 12-hour daytime physician coverage.

  • No ICU Responsibilities: Purely floor-based medicine; no ICU coverage required.

  • Tech: Cerner EMR system.

Requirements
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Internal Medicine (IM) or Family Medicine (FM).

  • Must hold or be eligible for an active Arizona medical license.
