Community Banker (Relationship & Business Development Focus) | Webster Groves, MO
Are you someone who loves meeting new people, building relationships, and being active in your community?
First Bank is looking for an outgoing, relationship-driven Community Banker to be the face of our Webster Groves branch. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys networking, attending community events, developing local partnerships, and helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals.
What You'll Do
  • Build relationships with local businesses, community organizations, and residents.
  • Represent First Bank at networking events, community gatherings, and local business functions.
  • Host and support branch events and outreach activities.
  • Create meaningful conversations that uncover client needs and connect them to the right banking solutions.
  • Deliver exceptional client service while processing banking transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Partner with internal specialists to help clients with lending, investments, and business banking needs.
  • Maintain operational excellence and compliance with all bank policies and procedures.

Note: As part of the employment process for this position, you will have to meet the requirements of a background credit check. This position requires compliance with the S.A.F.E Mortgage Licensing Act of 2008 and all related regulations. Ongoing employment is contingent upon meeting all such requirements.
Qualifications, Competencies and Skills
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Previous cash-handling experience preferred
  • Minimum of 12 months of sales and/or banking experience preferred
  • Life License (LB) preferred
  • NMLS registry preferred
  • Proven sales skills
  • Good analytical skills
  • Developed customer service skills, including written and verbal communication
  • Ability to use a PC and alpha/numeric keyboard
  • Flexible work week schedule, which may include Saturdays

Compensation Disclosure
The range for this role takes into account many factors that First Bank considers when making hiring decisions, including but not limited to prior experience, skill set, training, and other internal business and organizational factors. First Bank generally does not hire at or near the top of the stated range. The range is driven by the geographic location of the anticipated hiring location; however, the specific range may vary depending on the geographic location for remote positions. Compensation decisions depend on the specific facts and circumstances of each hiring instance.
A reasonable estimate of the current pay range is $17.00 - $21.00
