Job description

Position: Communications Capabilities Instructor

Location: Virginia Beach, VA

Clearance: Secret

Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

  • Provide advanced communication instruction related to current and emerging communication and navigation technology.
  • Assist with schedule development, curriculum management, and logistical planning.
  • Provide instruction related to current/emerging Blue Force Trackers (BFT). Utilize crypto management and apply it to advanced communications technology.
  • Assist with liaison support, as well as other Communication entities to identify and integrate emerging communications technologies.
  • Assist with managing curriculum and providing instruction for current and emerging communications and navigation technologies.
  • Must possess a minimum of five years’ experience within the last ten years as a Special Warfare Combatant-craft Crewman (SWCC), with achievement of SWCC Senior qualification in accordance with COMNAVSPECWARGRUFOURINST 3120.3E. Applicant’s SWCC Senior qualification must not have been removed for administrative or disciplinary reasons.
  • 5 years’ experience as NAVY/NSW Instructor. Instructors will support or augment active-duty training cadre with subject matter expertise, echelon IV level combat systems integration efforts, scheduling/planning, classroom instruction, practical field training, final training exercises, troop movements, consumable supply management and performance as opposing forces (OP4), as necessary
