Building long-term relationships with shippers and carriers is essential, as repeat business and referrals drive much of their success. Agents must stay current on market rates and service offerings to provide value and stand out from competitors. Regular follow-ups, excellent customer service, and adapting to clients’ changing needs are vital for maintaining and expanding business.
