Job description

The Opportunity

We are seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Sales Compensation Analyst to own the administration and reconciliation of our sales incentive programs. You will be the primary engine behind our commission cycles, ensuring all employees on variable compensation plans are paid accurately and on time.

Your mission is to bring absolute data integrity to our compensation process. You will bridge the gap between CRM data and payroll outputs, resolve discrepancies, and serve as a trusted partner to both Finance and the Sales organization.

What You'll Do
  • Monthly audit of CRM bookings vs. commission workbooks and tools to verify deal values, credits, and contract terms.
  • Administrative Workflow: Manage the end to end commission lifecycle, from data extraction to final payroll delivery.
  • Dispute Resolution: Serve as the first point of contact for commission inquiries, investigating and resolving rep payout questions.
  • Data Hygiene & Auditing: Conduct regular audits of CRM opportunity stages and account ownership to ensure the commission system aligns with current business reality.
  • System Maintenance: Maintain and update quota assignments, territory mappings and rate tables within our compensation tracking tools.
  • Reporting: Deliver monthly performance summaries to sales leadership, including attainment trends and commission spend.
  • Proactively identify inefficiencies in the commission workflow and recommend solutions to reduce manual effort and prevent recurring errors.
About You
  • Proven track record in Sales Compensation, Finance, or Sales Operations with 4 years of relevant experience.
  • Advanced experience with Pivot Tables, complex formulas (XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH), and data cleaning techniques.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce, Everstage, or other CRM and compensation tools, including hands-on experience with Opportunity and Account objects.
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver 100% accuracy while confidently enforcing established plan policies.
  • Proven ability to handle sensitive compensation data with the highest level of discretion.

The reasonably estimated base salary for this role ranges from $160,000 to $180,000, plus a competitive equity package. Actual compensation is based on the candidate's skills, qualifications, and experience.
