Job description

The Opportunity

Enigma is the most reliable, trusted source of data on businesses in the United States. Built on industry-leading entity resolution and the most comprehensive collection of trusted U.S. government data, Enigma powers KYB, screening and AML compliance, merchant payment risk, and go-to-market account-based data enrichment. Enigma provides ground-truth business identity and financial signal data that financial institutions, data platforms, and AI systems rely on to understand and verify businesses, delivered through APIs and Agents to support mission-critical workflows.

You'll operate as a strategic partner to C-suite stakeholders, applying structured problem-solving to complex business challenges and translating customer needs into product and go-to-market impact.

What You'll Do
  • Own client outcomes end-to-end. Lead the full lifecycle of our highest-value accounts, from onboarding through retention and expansion with direct accountability for revenue growth and renewal targets.
  • Serve as a strategic advisor. Build trusted relationships with C-suite and senior stakeholders, diagnose their most pressing business challenges, and develop tailored strategies for embedding Enigma data into their workflows and decision-making.
  • Drive expansion and commercial growth. Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities, build business cases, and partner with Sales to close expansion deals.
  • Shape product and GTM strategy. Synthesize customer feedback and market signals to influence Enigma's product roadmap and go-to-market positioning. You'll have a seat at the table.
  • Lead complex engagements. Design and execute client strategy plans, lead implementation initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams (Product, Engineering, Sales) to deliver results.
Who You Are
  • 3-5 years of experience at a top-tier consulting firm (MBA or equivalent), investment bank, or high-growth technology company, ideally with client-facing or commercial responsibilities.
  • Structured thinker. You break down ambiguous problems, develop actionable strategies, and drive execution with rigor.
  • Commercially minded. You understand how to build and defend revenue, and you're energized by owning a number.
  • Executive presence. You're comfortable presenting to C-level audiences and navigating complex organizational dynamics.
  • Analytically strong. You're fluent in data, comfortable with SQL and Python, and experienced using data to build narratives and drive decisions.
What Makes This Role Exciting?
  • Ownership with real stakes. You'll have direct influence on Enigma's largest revenue relationships and the company's growth trajectory.
  • Strategic scope. Solve complex problems for industry-leading companies while shaping how Enigma builds and sells its products.
  • Category-defining product. Enigma's unified business identity graph is transforming how companies prospect, onboard, and manage risk and you'll be at the center of that.
Bonus Points If You
  • Experience in financial services, fintech, payments, or data/SaaS
  • Familiarity with data products, APIs, business intelligence tools, or ML concepts
  • Track record of managing strategic and high value client relationships
About Us

Every system that touches a U.S. business depends on knowing who that business is. Compliance teams need to verify it. Lenders need to underwrite it. Payments teams need to size it. Sales teams need to target the right one. AI agents need to reason about it.

Enigma sees businesses the way they actually exist. Government records, online presence, and real card transaction data connected into one verified identity per business. That's why Capital One, Ramp, Shopify, and Clay all build on Enigma. The business identity layer they all share.

Our core values - generosity, curiosity, ingenuity, & drive - guide everything we do, from how we make our most important product decisions to how we work with and support one another on a daily basis. We're a team of curious, driven individuals with diverse backgrounds and skills, but we're all passionate about engineering deeper understanding through data-together. If this resonates, we would love to hear from you!ย

We are proud to be an equal opportunity workplace and an affirmative action employer. We are committed to equal employment opportunity regardless of race, color, ancestry, religion, sex, national origin, sexual orientation, age, citizenship, marital status, disability, gender identity or Veteran status.

Salary Range: $150,000-$175,000, plus commission incentive package.

A note on salary ranges: we pride ourselves on paying competitively for our size and industry. Salary is one piece of a total Enigma compensation package that includes additional benefits and opportunities. All of our compensation packages include equity because we believe 100% of Enigma employees should have the option to purchase ownership in the company and benefit from the value we're creating together.
