As the Systems Helpdesk Technician with the BCBSWY IT Team, you will be responsible for providing customer support to end users, ensuring timely resolution of technical issues and maintaining a high level of service. You will assist with the maintenance of LAN workstations and physical network connections, supporting the reliability and performance of the organization's desktop and network environment. You will also assist with routine maintenance and administrative tasks related to the telephone system, along with performing other duties as assigned to support overall IT operations.
You will collaborate closely with all other BCBSWY IT Team Members to support shared initiatives and ensure consistent, high-quality service across the organization. You will work with host site support personnel to maintain remote applications and ensure reliable access for end users. You will also serve in a backup capacity for other team members as needed or assigned, helping maintain continuity within the IT environment.
To be successful in this role, you must have a strong desire to learn new skills and work with new technologies. You should have a working knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and related software, along with a solid understanding of computer systems, mobile devices, and other technical products used for diagnostics and repairs. Strong customer service skills are essential for supporting end users effectively. An understanding and appreciation of computer networking and security principles is also important for success in this position.
Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent. Work experience in system administration, information technology, or related fields is preferred. Candidates who are currently engaged in or pursuing continuing education in Information Technology are strongly encouraged to apply. Certifications and/or specialized expertise in Windows, computer hardware, or help desk-related work are also preferred.

Our positions are all based in Wyoming. Executive level employees are required to reside full-time in Wyoming.
