Humana's distribution organization, MarketPoint, plays an important part in driving Humana's long-term vision to achieve leading growth in Medicare and individual products. We created the MarketPoint strategy team to help transform Humana's customer acquisition approach. The team functions with a mandate to think creatively, discover new opportunities and re-envision operations to drive growth and deliver first-class experience to our members and agents. As part of the Strategy Advancement team, you will provide strategic and tactical support to MarketPoint leaders to shape the priorities and agenda for the MarketPoint organization.
The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional leads initiatives to analyze complex business challenges using data from internal and external sources. Bring expertise or identifies subject matter experts to support multi-functional efforts to identify, interpret, and produce recommendations and plans based on company and external data analysis. The Senior Strategy Advancement Professional ensure that policies and procedures align with corporate vision. Begin to influence department's strategy and be responsible for PowerPoint slide creation and storytelling for senior and executive leadership audiences. You will make decisions on moderately complex to complex issues regarding technical approach for project components and perform work with limited directions. You will exercise considerable latitude in determining objectives and approaches to assignments.
Responsibilities
  • Lead MarketPoint's test and learn portfolio, partnering across the business to identify, track, and evaluate initiative performance.
  • Build and manage the single source of truth for all active and upcoming tests and learns partnering closely with data science to ensure all tests are timed correctly and have proper controls.
  • Partner with finance to evaluate and determine return on investment (ROI) of initiatives based on test results and track performance against commitments.
  • Lead the creation of executive-level PowerPoints and presentations to showcase test outcomes and develop standardized cadence for review with leaders from across the business.
  • Support delivery of a wide range of short-term and long-term strategic and transformational initiatives.
  • Deconstruct, analyze, and document organizational problems or opportunities, create strategies/action plans to address, and lead follow-ups to promote successful execution.
  • Support high-impact strategy initiatives from development to completion and articulate compelling, insightful findings, conclusions, and recommendations.
  • Partner cross-functionally to align strategy execution and outcomes across the enterprise.

Required Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or a related field.
  • Three (3) or more years of experience leading cross-functional teams and driving transformational, strategic initiatives.
  • Strong business acumen with proven track record of partnering closely with analytics and finance teams to forecast, evaluate, and measure initiative outcomes.
  • Expertise in Microsoft Suite specifically in Excel and PowerPoint content creation and slide development.
  • Experienced delivering executive level presentation with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills to influence, facilitate and enhance performance within a cross-functional.

Preferred Qualifications
  • Master's degree or higher in business, management or a related field.
  • Healthcare experience in working in a strategy role or experience in management consulting.
  • Experience leading test-and-learn programs or experimentation portfolios, including initiative design, execution, performance tracking, and evaluation.

Additional Information
  • Workstyle: This is a remote position.
  • Travel: Up to 5% travel is required for team engagement meetings, which may occur outside your state of residence.

Pay Range
The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
$86,300 - $118,700 per year
This job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan. This incentive opportunity is based upon company and/or individual performance.
