Start Elevator, a fast-growing leader in the elevator services industry, is seeking an Elevator Service Technician to support our expanding operations in the New York and New Jersey markets.

 

Job Summary 

The Sales Account Manager in the elevator industry is responsible for maintaining and growing relationships with clients, including building owners, property managers, and contractors. They serve as the key point of contact, overseeing sales, contract negotiations, service delivery, and customer satisfaction for elevator products and services. The role involves identifying client needs, providing solutions, coordinating with technical and service teams, and ensuring timely resolution of issues to maximize client retention and achieve revenue targets.

Duties and Responsibilities 

  • Generate sales among client accounts, including upsell and cross-selling
  • Operates as the point of contact for assigned customers
  • Develops and maintains long-term relationships with accounts
  • Makes sure clients receive requested products and services in a timely fashion
  • Communicates client needs and demands to management
  • Forecasts and tracks client account metrics
  • Manage projects within client relationships, working to carry out client goals while meeting company goals
  • Identifies opportunities to grow business with existing clients
  • Coordinate with staff members working on the same account to ensure consistent service
  • Collaborates with sales team to reach prospective clients
  • Service multiple clients concurrently, often meeting deadlines
  • Keep records of client transactions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • Must have a minimum of 5 years' experience in a sales and/or account support role.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multi-task
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Candidates must have an aptitude for technical, mechanical concepts and terminology
